Chanson vendredi

All students will be listening to Zaz' "On ira". Grades 4/5, 6, and 7/8 will complete as much of the handout as they can independently. Grades 1/2, 2/3, and 3/4 will work through the handout as a class.

Grades 4-8 will be listening to Carmen by Stromae, a commentary on the effects of social media on our lives.

Les animaux

Grades 1-3 are learning about animals- their names in French, what they sound like, and how they live. We are beginning with Farm animals.

Passport Application

As part of our travel unit, students will complete a passport application before they begin planning the specifics of their year-long trip to a French-speaking region.

La nourriture internationale

As part of our foods unit, this coming week students will, in small groups, choose a regional variety of food and create a poster including 3-5 dishes from their chosen cuisine.
